Fresh Russian strikes kill two in Kyiv as attacks hit Ukrainian infrastructure

Two people were killed in Kyiv on Wednesday in a new wave of Russian airstrikes, while several Ukrainian cities reported damage to buildings and infrastructure.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said two bodies were found after an airstrike sparked a fire in a garage cooperative in the capital. Explosions were heard across the city.

Further strikes damaged an industrial facility in Dnipro, transport infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia and apartment buildings in Kremenchuk, according to regional officials.

The latest attacks come amid continuing Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure as the war enters its fifth year.
