Deutsche Bank reported after-tax profit of €1.9 billion for the third quarter of 2026, marking its third consecutive quarterly record as revenue grew across key retail and corporate businesses.
The Frankfurt-based lender said profit before tax rose 8% from a year earlier to €2.6 billion, while net revenues increased 4% to €8.3 billion. After-tax profit for the first nine months reached a record €5.9 billion, up 7% year on year. Reuters reported that the quarterly result exceeded analysts’ expectations.
Growth in the bank’s focused expansion areas helped lift the result. Assets under management across its Private Bank and Asset Management businesses rose by €50 billion during the quarter to €2 trillion, supported by €47 billion in net inflows. Lending volumes increased 5% year on year and deposits grew 8%.
Deutsche Bank said it remained on track to meet its 2026 objectives and maintained its ambition to generate more than €33 billion in revenue for the full year. Its common equity tier-one capital ratio stood at 14%, while provisions for credit losses totalled €501 million in the quarter, up 9% from the previous three-month period.
